A new book by Ye Yumin (Renmin University) and Richard LeGates (San Francisco State University) titled Coordinating Urban and Rural Development in China: Learning from Chengdu describes the programs Chengdu–one of China’s pilot regions for coordinated urban-rural development–have carried out over the last two decades, was published by Edward Elgar Press in September, 2013.
